About Us

Our Apartment

As it turns out, many of our friends are also nerds who have web sites. For instance:

Julie Olsen - Julie is one of the most artistic people I know. But not in a wierd eccentric sort of way, but a practical and functional sort of way. Just ask her about turbo-chargers and automotive "design."

Matt McCormick - He calls himself the Little Barbarian. Sure, he's a little rough around the edges, but pretty soon Steve Jobs will be looking over his shoulder for McCormick. Just wait...

Matt Schroeder and Julie Olsen - Schroeder has had several web sites over the years, and I'm never sure which is his most current one. The most important one is their combined effort.

Schroeder and Jules' Wedding Rehearsal

Jaron Berman - We have known Jaron since he was a wee tot. Since then, he has grown into a good sailor, teacher, friend and mentor. He also is a fantastic photographer. He shot our wedding, as well as Bob and Christy's. He really captures the mood of the event through very candid, photojournalistic shots. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jaron.

Bob Holz and Christy Sheppleman - They're actually married, but Christy is one of these "liberated" women who keeps her name to confuse teachers. Their site is primarily photography, but Bob is a really good photog, so it's worth taking a look.

Dave Snowberg and Michelle Dodd - Dave Snowberg is my best friend from High School. We studied, caroused, played music and trained together. Dave is a brilliant engineer, a dedicated environmentalist and one hell of a photographer. One day he called me and told me that he met the woman "that he is going to spend the rest of his life with." Since then, Michelle has become a close friend as well.

Tim and Eileen Storm - Tim is an old teammate, roommate, housemate, coach, athlete, musician and friend. He's a great writer and I would recommend you read his blog. One of my favorite entries is their analysis of our wedding.

John Gagnon - John is more of an acquaintance, but he reigns over Valhalla. All things Vanagon. He's my hero.

Steven Gross - Steve is one of our Wednesday night paddling buddies. An overall good guy with a great respect for the outdoors, love, fun and the pursuit of the highest quality of life you can achieve. But he is a true rennaissance man. His photography service, RealLifeWeddings, does fantastic work. In contrast to Jaron's photojournalistic style, Steve is an artist. He combines sexy and classy into memorable photographs.

Herb - Nothing needs to be said here. The photo links to a short 4Mb movie.
